One Week Later

What progress we have seen in just one week! This morning Mom was sitting up in a chair. She is doing so well. She got the go-ahead to have liquids. She ate some soup for lunch and really enjoyed it. She keeps asking for a Coke, but we think it's a bit early for that. She is telling funny stories and joking around. She even called me this morning to make sure I remembered to call everyone about the music for Sunday. She talked to Emelia and Ayden on the phone today, too. We are so pleased with her progress. By the end of today she should be moved out of the CCU and over to the Progressive Care Unit. We can't believe it's been a week. She doesn't either. She keeps asking if the heart attack happened yesterday.

What wonderful news! I know I speak for the whole Jorgenson family when I say that we are so relieved and grateful to God for Susan's recovery. What a strong, sweet, loving person she is! We hope she gets better each day and can go home soon.

Love,
Julie(Jorgenson)Coskey

Hey Susan, We hear that you are up and moving around...joking and all. Great! We knew you could do it! Just keep up the attitude and hit the re-hab with avengence and you'll be back in the groove in no time.
Remember when we went skiing at Afton Alps with Dick and Pauline Edgley? Somewhere I have a picture of that to remind you of the "good 'ol days".
Do you remember my first real calling in the church, working with you on the Activities Committee? Weren't we something? As indicated, this was my "first real calling" as my first calling was the "Magazine Chairman"...and I ended up making a lot of people mad because of my hounding to take the Ensign at $3 and the Church News at $1.50. Wowee!
Seriously, you have proven that with the will and help from Heavenly Father, it's possible to get through most anything. The power of prayer really has had a significant role in your "popping" back also.
Keep up the good work. We think about you all the time and pray for your continued improvement. And as for you, Brother Dick....hang in there and don't forget to pamper your eternal mate. Remember, it's wifey and family first then work, second.
Love to all of you from your 'ol buddys in the Mpls. 4th Ward, now moved way over here to the east.

Dear sister Coon,
I feel so bad for you.
I hope you are getting better.
Also I hope you like poems because here is one just for you.

There is a princess who you may know. Her name I might tell you or you may never know.
She is quite beautiful and her singing makes your heart melt, but I suggest that you stay on her good side or you'll end up like one of her pets. In dog school like the rest.
She is very good, but this princess's dragon came from the chest. Right now she is recovering from that dragon's nasty breath and like all princesses her prince and family are right next to her and wishing for the best.I may not be family, but I am very close and wishing for the very best! Now I shall tell her name because you've been so good. It it sister Coon and I know that she is the best
princess!

I hope you like the poem. I tried my best. Happy Easter! Also get better soon! Waiting for you to get better is Brittany Chritensen.

Susan, what an appropriate weekend to be offering thanks for the blessing of your "new life". We are filled with many emotions; but mostly gratitude, gratitude, gratitude, gratitude...
Keep on laughing,

What grand news to receive on Easter weekend. I am so thankful to know the gospel is personal and a huge blessing to us, and especially to you and your family this week. It has been a long week indeed. We love you Sue, keep up the good fight. You are strong and we are all rooting for you. Anxious to visit with you. Lots of love, Bonnie and Drew.

It is a beautiful Easter day here in Utah. As we attended Sacrament meeting, I could not help reflect on all the church meetings that Suz and many of the bloggers here attended together. How much we have shared and learned from one another and in the name of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He gave his life for us today and now we celebrate Susan's recovery on this day also. It is a testimony to all of us how He says He "knows every hair on our head" and His ability to heal our "broken" hearts. Thank you Suz for once again teaching us as only you could do. Jeremy is bringing you back an angel...sounds like you have had quite a few of them lately. I love you... Pam
PS...He is bringing See's also!!
