More Tests

The neurology technician came in this morning and did the EEG. We should have results later today. They have decided to take her down and give her another CT scan of her sinuses as well as an MRI. They still can't pinpoint where the infection is and why her body is not healing with the antibiotic. In addition, her white blood count is low. This is most likely due to the infection. She is responding the same as yesterday. She will open her eyes and move her limbs around but is still not following direct commands.

Susan this is Jeff...
I understand that these messages are going to be read to you, and I know you can hear them. I want you to know that your in our prayers, and with God's help you'll pull through this...but I want you to also start fighting. You need to find the strength to reach down and will yourself back to us. It is not time yet, there is much for you to still accomplish here. We all need, and are counting on you.

Susan and family; You are in my prayers at night. Susan is one of the best I have ever worked with. Her compassion and empathy for patients were always over the top.

Just wanted to let you know a large cheer went up here at RVIA when we heard the news that Susan has awakened.
